Despite the crazy results and arctic temperatures at the Delta Lloyd Regatta in Medemblik (Netherlands) it looked like a blast.

Final results just in from the men’s windsurfing fleet at Delta Lloyd Regatta has proven ONCE again that the new scoring systems that are being FORCED on the athletes are fundamentally flawed.

It is pretty clear when an athlete dominates an entire regatta and is rewarded with a 4th that the scoring systems are not working…nice work Dorian van Rijsselberghe.

49er boys Dave Evans and Ed Powys claim our first Delta Lloyd medal… hopefully more to come tomorrow!

The 2013 U.S. Multihull Championship to be Decided in Hobie 16s on San Francisco Bay… Take part in all the excitement this September and register today!

Another blustery Medemblik day, with some lovely rain squalls to top it off.. The last three races went ok, we were up there in the first race of the day but missed the huge left shift on the final beat and ended up with a 6th – our drop of the event… So we thought we better do a little better in the next two, which we did, with a 1,1, to finish off with.

We had some great battles with the British, and now we go into the ‘final race’ carrying a 1st, with them in 2nd… So pretty much it all starts again tomorrow with what is essentially a winner takes all ‘final race’.

Forecast looks a little suspect.. wind and rain, maybe some thunderstorms if we are lucky!! Then its time to pack up and head somewhere warmer!!

Last day of the opening series today @DeltaLloydRegat, finished off with a shocker, then two wins.. COLD again.. with nice rain squalls..
Retweeted Mathew Belcher (@BelcherMathew):

I still can’t believe that our 20 hours racing over four days, will count the same as tomorrows one 20 minute race. So m…
