Becca Ward stepped down from the international fencing scene after winning two bronze medals at the 2008 Olympic Games to concentrate on her studies at Duke University. While at Duke, Ward went on to win 3 NCAA championships in Women’s Sabre. Now, she spends some of her free time when not working for a DC

Team USA Fencers boasts career bests as well as holding onto a #2 team world ranking. Xuzhou Epee Grand Prix Maya Lawrence finished 10th at the Xuzhou Epee Grand Prix, a career best. Her initial 11th seed exempted her from the pools and preliminary rounds, placing her in the table of 64 where she defeated

Welsh Fencing will be hosting a British Fencing Road Show on Sunday 5th May, at 10:00am in the Taff Suite, Sport Wales National Centre, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff CF11 9SW David Teasdale, Chair of British Fencing, will be present to give a short presentation, followed by a Q&A session. This is open to ALL fencers, parents and others interested in Fencing. Please come along and raise all those topics, concerns and suggestions you may have
